List of Weapons with their Locations:

Given below is the list of weapons and the locations of the weapons. Here, we will tell you the types of weapons, their names, and locations where you can find them.

There are four types of weapons:

Below here is the list of all the Four Types of Weapons in the game NieR Automata.

  1. Large sword Weapons
  2. Short Sword Weapons
  3. Combat Bracers
  4. Spear Weapons

1). Large sword weapons:

  • Beastlord: First one is Beastlord. It can be bought from the vendor of  Resistance Camp weapons.
  • Phoenix Sword: The place where you properly start the game, You can find this sword on the roof of City ruins in the locked chest.
  • Machine Axe: You have to visit the weapons vendor of Pascal’s village and buy it.
  • Type-3 Blade: You can buy it from Devola and Popola.
  • Type-40 Blade:  To get this first you must have 9s and then complete ‘Data Analysis Freak’ quest for Operator 210 which can only be done by using 9s.
  • Virtuous Treaty: The location where you will get Virtuous treaty is Abandoned Factory. You will find it at its entrance. When you are able to go to the open world, its mark will automatically appear on the map.
  • Cruel Blood Oath: You can find it in the caverns just below the Desert Zone in the game. To get this too, You must have 9s by which you have to unlock a door behind which Cruel Blood Oath will be found.
  • Fang of Twins: The location of Fang of Twins is the Desert Zone. You can find it in the Housing Complex of Desert Zone.
  • Iron Will: The location of Iron Will is the Flooded City.

2). Short Sword Weapons:

  • Ancient Overlord: You can buy it from the Resistance Camp weapons vendor.
  • Virtuous Contract: It is the default weapon of 2B.
  • Cruel Oath: It is the default weapon of 9S.
  • Machine Sword: You can buy it from the weapons vendor of Pascal’s village.
  • Cypress Stick: Its location is in the Forest Zone. On way from Pascal’s village to Forest zone, you will see the collapsed pillars. You have to climb on those pillars to find the chest where Cypress stick is locked.
  • YoRHa-issue Blade: To get this weapon, you have to complete the “11B’s Momentos”side quest.
  • Iron Pipe: To get this weapon, you have to go to the amusement park and The City Ruins to do fishing in sewer between them.
  • Beastbane: You can buy it from the vendor of weapons in the  Resistance Camp.
  • Engine Blade: In abandoned factory near the Third run end, You have to look for a door with crushers at the top of the first set of the conveyor belt.
  • Phoenix Dagger: When you go towards the Rope Bridge, from the access point near the tower in City Ruins, on the right side of the Rope bridge, there will be a downwards going sloping path, which you have to walk. Reach the Hidden Elevator, and enter it. You’ll now find a Cave, and a chest containing the weapon near the waterfall in this area. Also, you can drop down by the waterfall in the Forest Zone, to reach this area.
  • Ancient Overload: Buy it from the Resistance Camp weapons vendor.
  • Type-40 Sword: For this one, complete the ‘Find A Present’ quest for Operator 60.
  • Type-3 Sword: Bought from Devola and Popola.
  • Virtuous Contract: 2B’s default weapon.
  • Cruel Oath: 9S’ default weapon.
  • YoRHa-issue Blade: Complete the side quest ’11B’s Mementos.’
  • Machine Sword: Buy it from Pascal’s Village weapons vendor.
  • Engine Blade: Find this one in the Abandoned Factory. When you are exiting from the area near the end of the third run, look for a door on top of the first set of conveyor belts with crushers. There, you will find a chest in the room containing the Engine Blade.
  • Cypress Stick: You can find it in the Forest Zone. Go to the entrance linking Pascal’s Village to the Forest Zone, and climb onto the collapsed pillars and jump across the platforms in front of you till you find a chest which has this weapon.

3). Combat Bracers:

  • Bare Fists: Default weapon.
  • Angel’s Folly: Buy it from Emil when he’s near the Resistance Camp.
  • Demon’s Cry: Find it in the basement underneath the Amusement Park arena where you fought Beauvoir. The weapon is in a locked chest at the end of the hallway.

  • Type-40 Fists: You can find it in a locked chest behind the access point in the Resistance Camp.
  • Type-3 Fists: Bought from Emil when he’s near the Resistance Camp.
  • Virtuous Grief: From the Forest Zone’s central access point, move left, and then take a right past the training grounds. Keep heading in this direction till you’re near the edge, then look right to find some platforms you can climb up. Keep taking the higher ground, and leap across a couple of gaps to find a shrine housing the weapon.
  • Cruel Lament: Masamune hands this over once you fully upgrade a weapon.
  • Machine Heads: Wipe Pascal’s memories as A2. Once you have control over 9S again, go to Pascal’s Village and buy them from him.
  • Emil Heads: Defeat Emil’s first form.

4). Spear Weapons:

  • Virtuous Dignity: In the sewers between the City Ruins and Amusement Park, move past the first ladder that takes you to the park. There is another ladder at the end of the sewers. Climb up, and you’ll see a shrine housing the weapon.
  • Cruel Arrogance: Head back to the Abandoned Factory as 9S. Follow the escape route 2B took during your first run. After getting past the second wave of exploding machines, go through the conveyor belt (this is the one after the first set of crushers). Once you’re through, jump onto the platform above the conveyor belt to find the locked door at the end. Hack it to find a shrine with the weapon.
  • Machine Spear: Bought from Pascal’s Village weapons vendor.
  • Beast curse: From the Forest Zone Royal Chamber access point, head back on the path that leads you to the large library with the ladders. Before passing through the hallway that leads you to the library, jump up to reach a higher platform that takes you to the highest level you can access in the library. The weapon is in a locked chest here.
  • Dragoon Lance: From the Forest Zone’s central access point, follow the waterfall all the way down. Turn right to find a Lunar Tear and a chest next to it containing the weapon.
  • Spear of the Usurper: Complete the ‘Heritage of the Past’ quest.
  • Type-40 Lance: Complete the ‘YoRHa Betrayers’ side quest.
  • Type-3 Lance: Found in the Flooded City. Jump to the sloped building nearest to the waterfall. Look to your right and you’ll see a building you can jump to. There’s a chest there containing the weapon.
  • Dragoon Lance: From the Forest Zone’s central access point, follow the waterfall all the way down. Turn right to find a Lunar Tear and a chest next to it containing the weapon.
  • Phoenix Lance: Found in Desert Zone – Central. While facing the access point, head straight until you reach the edge of the white satellite circle on your mini-map. Turn left while still moving along the edge of the circle, and use the Scanner Pod to find the weapon.
